Residents are joining forces throughout California to create local Fire Safe Councils to effectively reduce and prevent wildfire losses. These community-led organizations will serve as the driving force behind comprehensive efforts to minimize wildfire losses. By leveraging the power of collective action, we strive to create safer lives, protected homes, preserved properties, resilient communities, and a safeguarded environment for all Californians.

The mission of the Rescue Community Fire Safe Council (RCFSC) is to foster collaboration, cooperation, and partnerships between local area residents and first responders to safeguard lives, property, and the environment from devastating wildfires. Through education, innovation, and proactive measures, we aim to empower communities and mitigate the risks posed by wildfires.

Our strategy is straightforward but effective. We begin by analyzing data to pinpoint the most critical wildfire issues facing our communities. Next, we involve stakeholders in crafting intelligent strategies. Lastly, we activate our network of partners to put into action both immediate and enduring solutions, equipping and empowering residents to coexist safely with the threat of wildfires.
